The Country Care team supports Pearson employees and leaders across Latin America and Canada with local HR matters, employee requests, documentation, and day-to-day people processes. We work closely with teams such as People Care, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to create a smooth and supportive employee experience.

About the Role:

This role may be a good fit for someone with experience as an HR Assistant, HR Operations Analyst, People Operations Assistant, HR Services Analyst, or similar junior HR role.

We are looking for a curious, organized, and service-minded professional to join our Country Care team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this junior role, you will support daily HR operations for Colombia and help with regional activities across Latin America and Canada.

You will help with employee requests, onboarding and offboarding steps, HR documentation, data updates, and follow-ups with internal teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, asking questions, solving practical problems, and supporting people with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily HR operations for Colombia, including onboarding, employee data updates, documentation, and offboarding steps.
• Respond to employee and manager requests, helping follow up on Country Care cases and HR service tickets.
• Work with internal teams such as People Care, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal to help move HR processes forward.
• Keep employee records, documents, and process information organized and up to date.
• Assist with simple HR projects, process improvements, and local compliance activities under guidance.
• Communicate clearly in English and collaborate with colleagues across different countries and cultures.

Required skills and experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, employee services, or a related administrative role.
• English proficiency is required, as the role works with international teams.
• Good organization, attention to detail, and ability to follow up on tasks and deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused approach.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and comfort asking questions when something is unclear.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and care.
• Experience with HR systems, ServiceNow, Oracle, or similar tools is a plus, but not required.
• Availability to work from our Bogotá office approximately once a week.
