Senior Business Analyst (System Integration)

Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst specializing in system integration will support the successful integration of business‑critical systems by analyzing processes, reviewing technical documentation, and coordinating between technical and business teams. This role is crucial in ensuring that middleware solutions meet business requirements and operate effectively across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis:
  • Deeply understand business processes, including critical workflows, bottlenecks, and potential failure points.
• Documentation Review:
  • Review source and target system documentation, including user manuals and API specifications, to grasp technical constraints and capabilities.
• Field Mapping Coordination:
  • Work closely with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create detailed field‑level mapping from source to target systems.
• Middleware Logic Design:
  • Collaborate with SMEs and technical stakeholders to design the necessary middleware logic that will ensure the integrity and completeness of business processes.
  • Provide clear and precise clarifications to middleware developers throughout the implementation.
• Testing & Validation:
  • Develop and write System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases to verify that middleware integration functions as intended.
• Documentation:
  • Create comprehensive documentation packages covering middleware integration, field mappings, business logic, and testing procedures.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and knowledge transfer sessions between IT teams, developers, and business SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, with at least 2 years focused on system integration.
• Experience working with API specifications, data mappings, and middleware design.
• Familiarity with integration testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Hands‑on involvement in field‑level data mapping and middleware integration projects.
• Proficiency in writing technical documentation and test cases for SIT and UAT.
• Knowledge of process automation and business process engineering.
