SAP P2P Sr consultant

Requirements

• SAP MM / PTP (Procure-to-Pay).
• Configuration, customization, and support of SAP ECC MM module.
• Expertise in designing and configuring complex scenarios using standard SAP.
• Experience with EDI, APIGEE, ALE, RFC, and IDocs (partner type, partner profile, message type, inbound and outbound parameters).
• Experience with Fiori standard configuration for PTP.
• Strong hands‑on experience with standard MM pricing transactions.
• Deep understanding of business processes within MM and their optimization.
• Experience in SAP localization for Mexico and USA.
• Ability to collaborate with technical SMEs and participate in technical discussions with key stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience documenting system specifications, functional requirements, development specifications, and testing processes.
• Knowledge of SAP implementation lifecycle including testing and go‑live activities.
• Ability to analyze and redesign business processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to interact with functional and technical teams.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented and collaborative environment.
• Experience managing integrations and enhancements within SAP MM.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP MM configuration and support.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and support SAP MM/PTP applications within SAP ECC environments.
• Provide ongoing support and optimization of SAP MM systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze and redesign business processes to improve operational performance within MM.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure SAP systems to support defined MM processes, including pricing and procurement flows.
• Manage implementation activities, including testing, validation, and go‑live support.
• Support and enhance integrations using EDI, ALE, RFC, IDocs, and APIs.
• Ensure proper configuration and operation of Fiori applications for PTP processes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution for incidents and defects.
• Document all system aspects including functional specifications, technical designs, and testing scenarios.
• Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure alignment and solution quality.
• Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with defined standards and best practices.
