ACAC Payments - Transformation Executive and Business Manager - Vice President

Job Description

As a Vice President of Strategic Execution & Business Management for the ACAC region, you will drive strategic planning, business transformation execution, and senior stakeholder management for the Colombia Payments franchise while contributing to ACAC regional priorities. You will partner closely with the Payments Country Head (Colombia – ACAC), regional key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into measurable execution. This role requires strong judgment, structured problem-solving, and a control-oriented mindset to deliver transformation outcomes with appropriate governance.

You will report to the LatAm Head of Strategic Execution with a dotted line to the Head of Finance and Business Management in LatAm, and will provide strategic support to the Country Finance & Business Management Associate.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Transformation

• You will partner with the Payments Country Head and management team to progress strategic priorities from concept to execution-ready initiatives, including business cases, scope definition, milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, and OKR/KPI routines.
• You will support ACAC regional transformation efforts by coordinating workstreams, tracking delivery, and ensuring alignment to regional objectives and governance standards.
• You will identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks, driving change by prioritizing issues, proposing solutions, and leading initiatives through to completion.

Business Management & Performance

• You will lead performance management activities, including financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and communication of business results to senior management.
• You will prepare executive materials for senior forums — business reviews, leadership updates, transformation steering committees, and ad-hoc requests — converting complex topics into clear, decision-ready narratives.
• You will identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operating rhythm across the franchise through simplification, automation, and standardization.

Stakeholder Management & Governance

• You will act as a connector across country leadership and functional partners — Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Data & Analytics — influencing without authority to align stakeholders, drive decisions, and remove blockers.
• You will support strong governance standards across initiatives, ensuring transformation programs are executed with appropriate attention to risk, controls, regulatory expectations, documentation, and escalation management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services in strategic execution, business management, COO-style, transformation, consulting, or banking/payments roles at VP-equivalent scope or above.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with very senior stakeholders — country heads and functional heads — and drive outcomes with structure and accountability across multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to build business cases, distill complex information into key insights, and deliver rigorous performance reporting.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presentation capabilities and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including experience with automated reporting and AI-enabled workflows for insight generation and narrative drafting.
• Confident, growth-oriented leadership style with high integrity, sound judgment, a control mindset, and the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

• MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in Payments and/or regional multi-country transformation programs.
• Familiarity with large transformational strategies within organizations, with a proven track record as a key influencer and driver of transformation.
• Familiarity with business management domains including planning, performance, governance, and controls.
• Proficiency with common productivity tools (PowerPoint/Excel) and structured reporting routines.

 

• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
